The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for supporting the Customer Service & Training Team and providing a range of high quality service related to customer service & training activities.

Responsibilities:

You will work with a range of management staff and technical experts in a challenging and fast paced environment. The company is technology oriented with a focus on, providing operational services to clients as well as enriching and improving aviation safety. You will be willing to undertake some travel on company business when required.


Normal duties for this position include:

* Respond to customers’ enquiries (e-mails, phone and fax) within a customer focused environment.
* Work with agreed service levels, striving to exceed customer expectations wherever possible.
* Take ownership of queries and proactively follow through to resolution, escalating issues when appropriate.
* Build and maintain a detailed customer database.
* Compile and coordinate feedback from clients to support the company’s continuous improvement program.
* Identify and escalate recurring or consistent problems with systems functionality.
* Provide flexible support for team members and other teams and foster a positive and a motivating environment.
* Perform User Acceptance Testing and report test results as required.
* Develop and maintain training materials for training flight crew and operations staff members.
* Assist the CST Manager and management with any special projects assigned and provide backup to the CST Manager when necessary.
* Other duties as required or directed.

Requirements:

* Able to work on a 24/7 shift work.
* Experience in user help desk operations.
* Good understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction.
* Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Well-developed skills to resolve issues, including the ability to escalate issues when required as they evolve.
* Demonstrable experience in a training environment, and in the development, maintenance and delivery of training material.
* Well-developed and demonstrable oral and written communications skills.
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Customer Service or equivalent.
* Contract position.

The successful applicant will have a solid background in Customer Service & Training; at least 3 years, preferably in the airline industry. You will be well organised, able to use a high degree of initiative while working without direct supervision, and be able to interact effectively with a wide range of staff members of different technical backgrounds to ensure Customer service & Training activities are progressed in accordance with the company.

You should have well-developed oral and written communications skills, including those that demonstrate intercultural competence.
